Current job description

Leadership qualities
In order to be a successful leader in the Corporate world, synergizing company’s business objectives with employee aspirations is the key. Awareness about employee perception of the Company, their short term and long term objectives, their growth prospects, Company’s progress and growth potential vis-à-vis its competitors in the industry are other key elements. For the purpose, earning credibility and reasonable trust of the employees are the key skills required for a successful leader.
Motivating Team
Motivation of the team requires getting into the shoes of team-mates in order to understand the problem in its right earnest (from their view-points) and then to resolve the same precisely addressing and mitigating the assumptions holding them back.
Advice given to upcoming leaders
Self belief would be the key. One must focus on first, being self inspired and then winning credence among the employees. This would require working out a balance between commitment & action and practical understanding of employee perception & problems.
Importance of branding
Branding based on complete satisfaction of all the stakeholders is certainly very important for any organization.
Importance of STP
STP is very important to understand needs of different market segments and then targeting each segment with a product that suits the most of their needs. This would in turn help the product in acquiring a sustainable position in the targeted segment.
Handling Grievances
Listening to the grievance empathetically followed by a genuine attempt to resolve it, is the basic requirement of Grievance handling. In cases of non-genuine grievances emanating from perceptual imbalances, employee counseling is done to help him understand the things in right perspective.
Connecting right dots by avoiding mistake
Through constant tracking/monitoring of outcome at each step as against the expected outcome.
Initiative taken by professionals to develop country
They can focus on quality of their efforts and outcome and guard against possible shortfalls by applying foresight. The motto should be "Give your Best" in what ever profession you are.
Climbing a ladder
A marketing person can climb the ladder of success much faster than other streams. It is like performing in a soccer team. The person who scores the goals is better placed for getting the Player of the Match award than other team members.
My view on India technical education system
There is a need to adapt education more and more according to its applicability in our day-to-day personal and professional lives. There should be an attempt to bridge the gap between: what is required and what is being offered, to make the education system more effective.
